About Me

I’m thankful to be blessed with a career that I love. It allows me to communicate important messages and stories as a voice talent, plus I get to help other people find and use their voices.

Singer/Songwriter

I started as a singer, making music before I was talking. Growing up in Los Angeles, I listened to the music of my mom and dad who were in a band together. My father was a member of Phil Spector’s “Wrecking Crew” who played guitar in his ‘Wall of Sound’ on hits such as ‘Da Do Ron Ron’ and ‘He’s a Rebel.’ After graduating from the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles with a major in voice, I became a session singer, working with songwriters who were pitching material to well known artists. I’ve toured as a musician across the country and won awards for songwriting. I currently perform regularly with my band, Rachel and the Ruckus (rachelandtheruckus.com).

“This dynamic group (Rachel & the Ruckus) has what it takes to stir up a rich and inviting line up of full throttle, in your face, out right damn good music.”~Sherryl Craig, Nashville Music Guide

Actor/Spokesperson

On-camera work is so much fun! As a voice talent, understanding character development and utilizing acting skills is essential. On-camera work allows me to flex slightly different acting muscles than the ones used behind the microphone, including body movement and facial expressions. I love it!

Voice Talent

As a voice talent, I’ve had the privilege of narrating for some of the most well respected companies in the world, such as Procter & Gamble, Old Navy & Gap and Alliance Residential. My voice is currently an internal trainer for recruiters at Microsoft, in videos in Petsmarts across the country, and in audiobooks teaching essential skills to mothers-to-be.

Voice Over Coach

Over the last 20 years, I have voiced literally thousands of projects. I use my experience and expertise to help my students realize their dreams as voice over talents. I provide personalized training that focuses on their unique skills. It’s a privilege to teach them how to be successful in the voice over business.

Business Voice Coach

As a voice acting coach, I began receiving inquiries from business professionals. They wanted to become better communicators….to increase sales…to be received in a more positive way…and to be more comfortable speaking in front of people. Every person who comes to me for business voice mastery training is unique in challenges, experiences and goals. I provide personalized training that focuses on the art of commanding their unique voice. My goal is to always up their game and help them achieve increased success.
